Some days remind you exactly why you do what you do.

Tomorrow — Saturday, October 24, 2026 — is one of those days. We are gathering our extraordinary community at one of St. Louis's most beloved landmarks, and I could not be more grateful or more excited to see every face (and every paw) that shows up.

But before we get to the details, I want to take a moment to say something I do not say often enough:

Thank you. Seventeen years. Hundreds of families. Thousands of animals. Not a single incident. None of that happens without you.

Professional Portraits. A talented photographer will capture beautiful, high-quality images of you and your furry companions. These are not snapshots — they are the kind of portraits that belong on walls and websites.

Creature Comforts Swag. Meet and mingle with your favorite Pet Care Associates and take home some fun goodies as a thank-you for being part of our story.

Community Magic. Forest Park in October is simply stunning. There is no better backdrop for celebrating the people and animals who have supported us for 17 years. Come ready to connect, laugh, and make memories.

👥 Who to Bring

Bring your family, your friends, and your dog-friendly, calm, well-socialized dogs on a leash. The more the merrier — this is a celebration of the entire Creature Comforts community.

---

Important Guidelines for Our Furry Guests

To ensure a safe and joyful experience for every attendee — two-legged and four-legged alike — please make sure your dogs are:

• Comfortable around large crowds and other dogs. Forest Park will be lively. We want every four-legged guest to feel relaxed and happy.
• On a secure, non-retractable leash at all times. This keeps everyone safe and ensures the photo session runs smoothly.
• Up-to-date on all vaccinations. The health and safety of every animal in our community is always our top priority.

🌟 What Awaits Your Pet in the Creature Comforts VIP Pack

We do not believe in basic care. Your pets are family — and family deserves a premium, fully integrated ecosystem designed to safeguard their health and maximize their happiness.

Here is what has kept our pack 100% safe for nearly two decades:

24/7/365 On-Call Emergency Availability True peace of mind means knowing someone is ready to respond to any situation — day or night, weekends, holidays, no exceptions. We are your ultimate safety net, always.

Premium Bundled Care — No Fragmented Services No patchwork providers. No gaps in coverage. We offer fully integrated packages that combine elite pet sitting, customized exercise regimens, behavioral enrichment, and specialized avian and exotic care — all under one trusted roof.

Avian & Exotic Specialty Care Inspired by Dudley and our cockatoos, we possess the highly specialized knowledge required to care for birds, reptiles, and pocket pets — creatures that traditional pet sitters simply cannot accommodate. This is a rare and irreplaceable expertise.

Adventure & Enrichment Outings We do not just walk pets. Alongside Ms. Colby Trout, we take your companions on tailored, safety-first adventures that stimulate their minds, strengthen their bodies, and feed their souls. Every outing is purposeful. Every step counts.

White-Glove Health & Safety Protocols Our proprietary screening and monitoring systems track your pet's wellness with meticulous precision — identifying potential concerns before they ever become problems. Prevention is always the most powerful medicine.

The Promise That Started It All

Seventeen years ago, I made a vow: that every animal who came through our doors would be treated as if they were my own.

Dudley — who has thrived under my care for almost 34 years and will soon be celebrating his 46th birthday — is living proof of what unwavering, expert devotion can do for an animal's longevity and quality of life. That same standard applies to every dog, cat, bird, reptile, and pocket pet we are privileged to serve.

The future of pet care is not just longer lives. It is better lives — richer, more stimulating, more deeply loved.

That is the Creature Comforts promise. And it is one we renew every single day.

---

🎂 A Special Birthday Tribute

Before I sign off, I want to take a moment to celebrate two very special people who mean the world to me.

A very Happy Birthday to my wonderful mother — her birthday was October 21st. And a heartfelt birthday wish to my dear friend and extraordinary veterinarian, Dr. Doug Pernikoff — his birthday was October 22nd.

Both of you have shaped who I am and what Creature Comforts stands for. Thank you for everything. 🎂
